Advice & tips

Choose a style that flatters you and naturally your confidence will grow.

Face Framing is the most important part of your bridal hair look so knowing your face shape is key to choosing the most flattering style for you.

Below are 5 face shapes to help you on your bridal hair journey.

*Oval Face shapes – work best with most styles

*Round Face shapes – need some height with minimal width

*Square Face shapes – need softness

*Long Face shapes – needs width with minimal height

*Heart Face shapes – needs face framing pieces or a fringe, deep side parting

Hair Trial

2-3 months before your wedding day I advise to book in your wedding hair trial.

At your trial we will discuss your ideas, dress style, hair type and face shape. We will then proceed onto your actual trial with the style that is chosen. Veil and sample accessories are available to try out here in the studio if you don’t have your own yet, so don’t panic.

I aim to take photos of your hair at every angle on your trial day so that you can take them home with you and revisit them at a later date. Your trial will last for up to 2 hours.

Wedding morning

On the morning of your wedding, I will be one of the first suppliers to greet you. A personalised morning timeline will be made up a week prior to your big day, as I liaise with your make-up artist and photographer. Your bridal hair will consist of a 2-hour window along with veil placement and touch ups throughout your final hour. Each individual other than the bride will get up to 50 minutes of Hair styling on the wedding morning and again touch ups if needed for the final hour. I take great pride in my work, and I want to make you feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible so that you can start your morning off with a celebration of happiness and excitement.
